  • Schönbrunn Palace

    This previous imperial palace for the Roman Empire, the Austrian Empire, the Austro Hungarian Empire and the Habsburg Empire speaks volumes of the country's past glory and draws a crowd today.

  • Wiener Staatsoper

    It has earned its reputation as the “World's Center of Opera” and has taken its place as one of the three most important opera houses alongside Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy and Opéra de Paris in Paris, France. Nearly 300 shows are staged here each year, and amazingly the program is never the same.

  • Stephansdom

    Stephansdom, or St. Stefan’s Cathedral, was built in the 12th century and is located in the heart of Vienna. With its 137-meter-high steeple, it has become one of the iconic landmarks that the locals take pride in. It's an eclectic mix of Gothic and Baroque architectural elements and strikes any visitor as sacred and solemn.

  • Hofburg Palace

    This winter retreat for the royal family members of the Habsburg Empire from the 13th century to 1918 is a delightful blend of Baroque, Renaissance and Rococo architectural styles. It houses a mind-boggling collection of royal artifacts in its 20 world-class collection halls.

  • Wiener Rathaus

    A concert at Wiener Rathaus, the city hall of Vienna, is a can't-miss. In July and August each year, the plaza fronting the city hall becomes a hive of activity – music enthusiasts throng the place. Food stalls on the ground take you onto a world culinary tour.



  • Coffee
