Houston is the fourth largest city of the United States and the largest economic center on the coast of Gulf of Mexico. Home to many large oil and gas companies and corporations like Exxon-Mobil and Shell, Houston is the oil and petrochemical industry center of the United States.

  • Johnson Space Center

    Established in 1961, Johnson Space Center is one of NASA’s largest research and development facilities for human spaceflight activities. For more than 50 years, it’s been leading the world on a continuing adventure of human exploration, discovery and achievement. It was the control center for man’s 1969 voyage to the moon.

  • Hermann Park

    A boggy plot of land has been turned into a beautiful park with numerous attractions. Trees stand. Flowers bloom feverishly. Wild ducks swim on lakes.

  • San Jacinto Battleground

    A battle on the site has changed the course of history of Texas once and for all.

  • Toyota Center

    Toyota Center is now home to the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). There, fans shout accolades or boo. This 750,000-square-foot venue can seat 18,055 people for basketball, 17,800 for ice hockey, and 19,300 for concerts. It has 103 luxury suites and 2,900 club seats. The Rockets East & West Clubs feature upscale concessions, extra wide seats and a full private bar featuring premium wine and beverage selections and concierge service. Since its opening in October 2003, Toyota Center has set a new standard for sports and entertainment and has become one of the premier live entertainment venues in the United States.
