The capital of northeast China's Jilin province ranks among China's four"garden cities". Lying hidden in its contemporary architecture are many stories about China's contemporary history. It was here that China's last emperor once lived in his puppet government palace, and New China's first film and first truck were produced.

  • The Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo

    Manchukuo was the puppet Manchurian state governed nominally by the last emperor of the toppled Qing dynasty Puyi with the support of Japan from 1931 to 1945. Today, the former palace of Manchukuo's emperor has been turned into a museum.

  • Jingyuetan National Forest Park

    Thickly forested rolling hills extend all the way northwards to a crescent - shaped pond. Views vary according to seasons. Marvel at the breathtaking lake from a hilltop.

  • Changchun Film Century City

    Taking its cue from Universal Studios and Disneyland, the state - of - the - art movie theme park provides myriad electrifying and riveting experiences of movies' special effects.

  • Nanhu Park

    It's the second largest urban park in the country, second only to Beijing's Summer Palace. Weeping willows line the banks of a crystal clear lake.

  • Changchun World Sculptures Park

    Over 300 sculptural masterpieces of different styles by 270 artists from 110 countries are on display in a beautiful natural setting.



  • Changchun Film Studio

    The studio is considered the cradle of New China's movie industry and the producer of New China's first movie. Today, China produces hundreds of movies a year.
