(1) Where no segment of your ticket has been used: If you request rebooking, we will issue a new ticket for you, so your free baggage allowance is subject to the baggage policies applicable on the day of ticket reissuance.
(2) Where a connecting point becomes a stopover on your ticket: If you request rebooking, the original connecting point on your ticket (you depart on your connecting flight for your onward journey within 24 hours) becomes a stopover (you depart for your onward journey over 24 hours later), you need to claim your baggage. Because the airport where you claim your baggage has changed, the baggage polices applicable to your journey will also be different. The free baggage allowance policies of XX will no longer apply to your journey, but those of YY will.
The policies on free baggage allowance and excess baggage released by airlines could vary according to market conditions. It’s likely that the baggage policies will change after or have changed before you purchase your ticket. The free baggage allowance and the standards on excess baggage shown on your ticket are deemed final.
