Linzhi, China

Niyang River peacefully flows. Cool green forests sweep across hillsides. Sublime snow-clad peaks loom up out of mists and clouds. The Himalayas and the Nyainqêntanglha Mountain Range cut out the world's deepest canyons. The warm air currents from the Indian Ocean blow in, giving the “Roof of the World” a one-of-a-kind tropical humid and semi-humid climate. Different varieties of flowers are a nice touch to this majestic picture.

Linzhi, a city in China's Tibet Autonomous Region, is also a melting pot of different ethnic groups, of which Luoba with the smallest population in China worship all living things and are still living a hunting-gathering life.

This is a fairytale world of natural wonders and intriguing traditions.

  • Namjagbarwa Peak

It's hailed as the “Father of Tibet's Mountains” and has been voted China's most beautiful peak by “China National Geography” magazine. Piercing the sky at 7782 meters, it always inspires all with awe and wonder.

  • Lulang Forests
